I really like teaching Mandolin. It is logical in its layout, much easier than the violin to learn and won't take you forever to get good at it. YES, you still have to put in the time and work but you knew that already...right?
What you should be thinking is; "I want to learn to play the mandolin in order to become a good musician." This is an instrument that can be used for many forms of music. I want to teach you to be a good musician first then a good mandolin player second. We'll use the mandolin to accomplish both.
Literally everyone that comes to me for beginning lessons has no idea how far they can go with their musicianship. How would they? They have never done this before which means they need someone to guide them and help them along. I can do that. Contact me and we can begin a dialog about your ideas.
